Scene 1
Odie’s master had gone on a trip for many days.
He left Odie a huge bowl of dog food, but not any of the regular treats, which usually were delicious bones.
Odie got so tired of eating dried dog food every day.

Odie的主人出外旅行好幾天,
他給Odie 留下一大碗的狗食,但沒有給他平時的美味,通常是可口的肉骨頭。
Odie天天吃乾狗食吃的膩極了。

“ It says that if you ever want to experience something,
You have to conceive it and believe it is possible.

書上說,如果你要經歷某事,你要先在心中孕釀他,也相信這是可能的。

Scene 3
The image of bones has to become a part of me.
In every part of Odie, my dear.
Deep down in my subconscious mind.

肉骨頭的形象必須成為我的一部分,成為我Odie的一部分,
要深入在我的下意識。

Scene 4 
I have to start looking at the dog food through eyes of faith.
I need to see myself chewing some delicious bones instead of dog food.

我要開使用信心的眼睛看狗食,
我要看見自己啃美味骨頭,而不是狗食。

Scene 5
“ But, dog food is still dog food!”
Odie starts to cry and spit out the dog food on the ground.
Here comes the little friend, Mr. Mouse.

『但是狗食仍就是狗食。』
Odie開始大哭,並且把狗食吐的滿地。
這時,他的小不點朋友,Mouse 先生來了。

Scene 6
“ Hey, Odie, don’t waste it.”
So Mr. Mouse caught all the dog food that Odie spat and carried it to his tiny warm sweet home.

嘿,Odie,不要浪費。
Mouse 先生接住Odie吐的滿地的狗食,將它們搬回自己的小小溫暖的窩。

Scene 7
Odie heard some happy sounds and he looked through Mr. Mouse tiny window,
“ Hey, looks like you are having a good time.”
“ Yes, we are.”

Odie聽到一些快樂的歌聲,他從老鼠先生家的小小窗戶看了進去。
『嘿,看起來你們很開心啊。』
『是啊。』

“ I never realize my dog food can become a good meal for you.
I guess it doesn’t taste that bad after all.”
『我從沒想過我的狗食,居然可以成為你們桌上的美食。
我想,這狗食其實還不錯啦。』

Captain Cat and Kitty Cutey were having a walk in the wood.
They had some fruit with them and were going to have a picnic in the wood.

Captain Cat 和Kitty Cutey在森林中散步,

There were mokeys playing in the trees.
Some monkeys got close to them, hoping to get some fruit.

Captain Cat gave some bananas to the monkeys and told Kitty Cutey about how hunters would catch monkeys.
Captain Cat said,
“The hunters would take a big barrel and fill it with bananas and other fruit.
On the side of the barrel, they cut a small hole, just big enough that the monkey would barely put his arm through it.

Captain Cat丟了一些香蕉給猴兒們吃,並且告訴Kitty Cutey
獵人是如何補抓他們的。
Captain Cat 說:
『他們會拿一個大桶子,裡面裝滿香蕉和各種水果。
在桶子的一邊,他們會挖一個很小的洞,小到只夠猴子將手剛剛好伸入。』

And then they put the barrel to where monkeys appeared.
The monkey would reach his arm to the hole and grab the treats.
But when he held his fist, it would be too big to get out of the hole.

然後他們將桶子擺在猴子出沒處。
猴子會將手臂深入洞裡,抓住裡面的好東西。
而當他握住拳頭時,就大的無法拔出洞來。

The monkey was so stubborn and wanted to hold on to the bananas.
Even when the hunter came, he wouldn’t let the treats go.
So he became prey for the hunter.

猴子頑固的將食物緊緊握住。
當獵人來的時候,他還是不鬆手。
就這樣,他成了獵人的獵物。

“The monkey just centered on the bananas and didn’t notice the danger!”
Said Kitty Cutey.
“That’s right. If he would get his mind off the bananas, he wouldn’t be caught by the hunter.” Captain Cat continued, “ It’s the same way, when you only center on your own needs and problems.”
『猴子是這麼專注在香蕉上而沒有看見危險。』Kitty Cutey說。
『沒錯,他如果不要滿腦子都是香蕉,他就不會被列人補到。』
Captain Cat繼續說:『當人一心一意只想著自己的需求和問題時,
也是一樣的道理。』

Odie got up in the morning, not feeling excited about the day.
“ Hi, Odie, I am the mirror of your inner being.”
“ You don’t look happy today. ” Says the mirror.

Odie清晨起床,對這新的一天覺得沒什麼勁。
『嗨,Odie,我是你內在的鏡子,你今天看起來不太開心?』

『想想看,當你再社區裡奔跑的時候,你看來就像隻飛翔的老鷹。』
『我真的像嗎?』
『當然啦。』鏡子回答。

“ Really?” Said Odie.
Odie felt much better now.

『布來克先生真的是很愛我啊。』Odie說道。

“ A strong tiger, a dignified eagle, a faithful dog, that’s who I am.”
Odie felt better and better as he’s thinking about all the goodness of his nature.
“ I’m ready for my day,! Bye, Mirror!”

『一頭強壯的老虎,一隻高上的老鷹,還有,一隻忠心的狗,對啊,那就是我啊。』
Odie想著他本性的種種優點,心情就越來越好了。
『再見了,鏡子,我已經預備好迎接這一天了。』

“ Good boy, Odie!”
“ It doesn’t matter what people think about you.” Said the mirror.
“ But it is very important what you think about yourself.”
“ Always remember, what you see yourself is the one will be!”

『Odie我的好孩子。』
鏡子說『重要的不是別人怎麼看你,而是你怎麼看自己,那才是最重要的。』
『要記住,你現在如何看到的自己,,就是將來的你。』
“ Thanks, Mirror! I’ll remember that. Have a good day.”
“ You, too! Odie!”
『謝啦,鏡子,我會季的的。祝你有美好的一天。』
『你也是歐,Odie。』

Dianne picked up an expensive picture that she liked.

Roger Bannister was born in a small town in England.
He showed his talent of running at his early age.
At the outbreak of World War 2, his family moved to Bath, where Roger had practice running on the way to and from school.
His exceptional speed on the running track soon won his scholarship to Oxford University.

Roger Bannister 出生在一個英國的小鎮,從小他就展露出他的跑步才華。
在第二次世界大戰爆發後,他們舉家遷居到Bath, 在那兒他常常練習從家中跑步到學校。
他突出的跑步速度,很快為他贏得了上牛津大學的獎學金。

Why was that?

That’s why I was late.

所以我就遲到了。』
Kitty Cutey沒有注意到,就再他和老師說話的時候,他的叔叔Captain Cat正向著他們走過來。

“ Remember, there are two dangerous places in the house.
One is the kitchen and the other one is the bathroom.”

Captain Cat常常告訴Kitty Cutey有關安全的重要性。
“記住,在家裡有兩個危險的地方。
一個是廚房,另一種是浴室。 ”

Captain Cat is napping in the afternoon as usual.
Kitty Cutey’s been thinking about what Captain Cat said regarding the safety of the house.

Kitty Cutey一直想著Captain Cat所說有關房子的安全。

Captain Cat opens his eyes,
and he is very surprised to see what Kitty Cutey has brought to the bedroom.

“什麼噪音呢? ” Captain Cat被噪音吵醒。
Captain Cat睜開他的眼睛,他非常驚訝地看到Kitty Cutey帶了許多東西到臥室。

“ Hey, young man, what’s going on?” asks Captain Cat.
“ I just did what you want me to do.” Answers Kitty Cutey.
“ What? Did I ever tell you to move kitchen stuff to the bedroom?”
“ Here, it says’ The most dangerous place, where most accidents happen is the kitchen.” Said Kitty Cutey.
“ We’re going to cook in a safe place tonight.”
Captain Cat is speechless.

“嘿,年輕人,這是怎麼回事? ” Captain Cat問。
“我只是做了你要我做的事。 ” Kitty Cutey回答。
“什麼?我什麼時候告訴你把廚房的東西搬到臥室? “
“上面說'最危險的地方,也是多數意外發生的地方是廚房。 ” Kitty Cutey說。
“今晚我們將在一個安全的地方做飯。 ” Kitty Cutey說。
 Captain Cat啞口無言。
