Agisoft PhotoScan Professional 1.1.4

Agisoft PhotoScan is an advanced image-based 3D modeling solution aimed for creating the professional quality 3D content from still images. Based on the latest multi-view 3D reconstruction technology, it operates with arbitrary images and is efficient in both controlled and uncontrolled conditions. Photos can be taken from any positions, providing that an object to be reconstructed is visible on at least two photos. Both image alignment and 3D model reconstruction are fully automated.

How it works
In general the final goal of photographs processing by PhotoScan is to build the textured 3D model. The procedure of photographs processing and 3D model construction comprises three main stages.

1. First stage is the photographs alignment. At this stage PhotoScan searches for common points on photographs and matches them, as well as it finds positions of the camera for each picture and refines the camera calibration parameters. As a result the sparse point cloud and the set of camera positions are formed.

The point cloud represents the results of photos alignment and will not be directly used in the further 3D model construction procedure (except the point cloud based reconstruction method). However it can be exported for further usage by external tools. For instance the point cloud model can be used in the 3D editor as a reference. On the contrary the set of camera positions will be required for further 3D model construction by PhotoScan.

2. Next stage is building the geometry. Based on the estimated camera positions and pictures themselves PhotoScan builds the 3D polygon mesh, representing the object surface. The four algorithmic methods available in PhotoScan can be applied for 3D mesh generation: Arbitrary – Smooth, Arbitrary – Sharp, Height field – Smooth and Height field – Sharp methods. Additionally there is a Point Cloud based method for fast geometry generation based on the sparse point cloud alone. After building the mesh it may be necessary to edit it. Some corrections, such as mesh decimation, removal of detached components, closing of holes in the mesh and so on can be performed by PhotoScan. For more complex editing you have to engage external 3D editor tools. PhotoScan allows to export the mesh, edit it by another software and import it back.

3. After the geometry (i.e. the mesh) is generated, it may be textured and/or used for orthophoto generation. Several texturing modes are available in PhotoScan, they are described in the corresponding sections of this manual.

Rapid batch image processing
All of DxO Optics Pro’s corrections are based on what we call DxO Presets. A DxO Preset is a selection of correction parameters that is applied to all images to be processed. Thanks to DxO Presets, you can quickly and confidently process entire batches of photos according to the particular corrections or improvements you want to make (color, contrast, sharpness, denoising, optical corrections); and, too, you can apply your own personally-created presets as well.

Optimized settings, thanks to our imaging experts’ know-how
From the moment you start up the software, unless you indicate otherwise, the default DxO Preset is active and will be used to process all your photos. This DxO Preset has been perfectly calibrated by DxO Labs’ imaging engineers and expert photographers to ensure optimal image quality for nearly all shooting conditions, including the most difficult. This DxO Preset brings together your camera’s default color rendering and the entire spectrum of our corrections for contrast (“Lighting”), optical faults (such as distortion, vignetting, and chromatic aberrations), a moderated reinforcement of sharpness, and optimal denoising. All of these corrections are perfectly adapted to your particular camera and lens. You can use this default DxO Preset with confidence for the vast majority of your images.

You can choose to apply a preset to one, several, or an entire batch of photos at any time.

DxO Presets for all tastes and all shooting conditions
The notion of image quality can be highly subjective. Some photographers prefer saturated colors and strong contrast, while others prefer reproducing delicate nuances of color and softened contours and edges. To respond to this important aspect of photography, DxO Optics Pro offers different tools and modes of function that permit you to process your images according to your own tastes and preferences.

ArcSoft ShowBiz is a software that allows you to create and edit video files. The interface of the program is intuitive. You can start by using the "drag and drop" method to add audio, video and image files. In the right side of the screen, you can preview the respective files but you can also import them from external devices.

So, you can add text (title, title and subtitle, tags, credits), transitions ("Alpha Artists", dissolves, motion, slides, special, wipe), effects (e.g. crop, color adjust, filters, orientation, pan and zoom), but you can also record audio from a microphone (i.e. narration).     這段時間我在測Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4)的AVCHD相容性。測試的過程中我建立了一個簡單的專案，大約4分鐘那麼長，兩個畫中畫加簡單的旋轉和色彩校正。我有兩套8核系統：一套是2.83GHz HP xw6600，Windows XP 32位的系統，3GB記憶體；一套是3.2GHz Mac，OS X version 10.5.5系統，8GB記憶體。最終生成為Blu-ray（藍光）相容的MPEG-2，在Windows工作站上花了68分鐘；在Mac上花了11分鐘。

    在32位Windows上，記憶體消耗幾近極限，但CPU利用率很低

    我本以為兩套系統的編譯速度會因為CPU速度的不同而只有15%的差異，但是結果竟是6倍的差異！我把這個結果發給Adobe，想聽聽他們的解釋。下面是他們給我的回復：

    說實話，這是我第一次在同一個句子中同時看到了CS4和64位的字眼，不過也可能是我平時看宣傳資料時不夠仔細。自從我認真考慮64位運算到現在已經有很長時間了。在NAB 2008上，Sony Media Software發佈了Vegas的64位版本，這個軟體最終在2008年9月發售。不過，我不怎麼用Vegas，所以它並沒有引起我的興趣，而且用32位的Windows時，我從來都沒注意到效能上的遲滯。

什麼是64位運算？
    什麼是64位運算？32位和64位CPU之間有很多不同，但是其中最重要的一點是CPU的記憶體尋址能力。32位CPU支援2^32位元組（4GB）記憶體。這就是為什麼你在大多數32位系統上最多只能看到4GB記憶體，而且有部分記憶體已預留給動作系統。而64位CPU能支援2^64（16EB）記憶體，不過Windows Vistax64只能支援128GB的記憶體。
    如果要運行在64位模式，得有一個64位的處理器和64位的動作系統。最初的x86-64規格由AMD提出，此後Intel的Core 2 Duo（酷睿2）也採用了這種規格。微軟一直以來都在提供XP和Vista的64位版本。蘋果用Tiger試了試64位的水，而Leopard則直接就跳了進來。
注意，32位的套用程式可以運行在64位的動作系統，但是最多只能利用4GB的記憶體。相反，一個真正的64位程式理論上可以利用動作系統支援的所有記憶體。
    走進64位 Windows有幾種方法可以得到64位Windows。第一，如果你的系統有一顆64位的CPU，可以升級你的動作系統。儘管可以在64位系統中用32位的套用程式，但是要為圖形卡、硬碟、DVD和其它硬體安裝64位的驅動，否則你沒法用這些裝置。另外，如果沒辦法把記憶體加到8GB，你就沒法感受到64位運算帶來的種種好處。
    另一個辦法當然就是直接買一套64位系統。顯然，這樣的話，所有的驅動都是64位的，你應該也能加入更多的記憶體。

CS4跟64位有什麼關係？
    在2008年11月20日的一篇新聞稿中，Adobe發佈了CS4 v 4.0.1，並列出了下面的主要特性：

    「更快的效能和響應，對64位運算平台的全面支援能夠加速運算密集型後期製作任務的處理速度。Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 version 4.0.1採用的架構能夠利用64位系統中更多的記憶體。」
    就CS4和64位運算的關係，我咨詢了PremierePro產品經理Giles Baker。下面是我們之間的問答。

問：CS4在32位和64位Windows系統上會有什麼不同？
答： CS4 在32位和64位Windows系統上運行時沒什麼區別，但是由於它採用了新的架構，因此可以利用64位系統中更多的記憶體。我們把套用程式分為多個獨立的可執行程式。即使每個可執行程式是32位（保留了同32位系統的相容性），每個可執行程式也能訪問4GB屬於自己的那部分記憶體，這樣一來，總體記憶體利用量就可以大大提高。
    比如，PremierePro以4個獨立的程式運行。Adobe MediaEncoder以一個單獨程式運行，但是根據待編碼內容源的情況，可能會呼叫更多程式。

如果要在64位Windows上用CS4，需要安裝什麼特別的東西嗎？
    不用安裝任何特別的東西。CS4在Mac和Windows上用起來沒什麼區別。

v4.0.1還有哪些跟64位有關的特性?
    4.0.1 提升了多方面的效能，尤其是重播和編譯，而且很多這些改進都歸因於在4.0中加入的架構變化。4.0和4.0.1 之間沒有架構上的變化。

    這會建立大約10個程式，每個可以使用獨立的4GB記憶體容量，一共就是40GB。這樣在處理複雜專案或工作流程時就可以實現更高的穩定性。
    另外，效能提升表現在：在套用程式之間的切換和等待記憶體從磁碟取得資料時花費的時間會降低。更多的記憶體可以用於幀快取，當內容被播放時，在被最新播放的幀換出快取前，它可以在快取中可以待更長的時間。這樣，編輯的互動性就會更好一些，尤其是處理高解析度內容的細節工作時。
    顯然這是一個較複雜的工作流程，但這是我們經常會遇到的情形。即使是將Premiere Pro時間線編碼的工作，我們也可以用比32位系統多得多的記憶體。這對於處理大尺寸幀和複雜專案是非常有說明的。

（錄影影片製作）劇本寫作：劇本的格式
首先明確一點，劇本區別於任何一種文體形式，我經常看到有的朋友把劇本寫成了小說或人物傳記，這是不對的，至少是不專業的。劇本有自己專署的格式，寫劇本從某種程度上說是個技術活。
寫劇本也不是什麼很崇高的藝術創作，這只是一個普通的工種，劇作家和清潔工人沒什麼區別，都是很普通的工作而已，所以每個人都可以寫劇本，每個人都可以當導演。當然，既然是一個工種，就有自己的規範。這些規範也許不會讓你迅速變成一個專家，但至少能使你看上去像一個專家。或是，不至於讓你糟糕的格式成為審稿人槍斃你稿子的理由。因為一個審稿人每天要看三到四篇稿子，如果你的劇本格式看上去不怎麼專業的話，他完全有理由翻上幾頁就把你的劇本扔在角落裏涼快。
先來看看劇本寫作常犯的錯誤：

1：把劇本寫成了小說
剛剛上面提到有的朋友把劇本寫成了小說，不是不可以，但那個是文學劇本，根本不能用來指導拍攝和製作。舉個例子，你可以在小說裏花幾頁的筆墨來寫一個人的身世，背景，家庭組成，或是用幾頁的筆墨來描寫主角的心理鬥爭過程，但這些東西是無法表現在電影螢幕上的。你的劇本就是一個螢幕，你所要表現的是電影螢幕上能被觀眾直接看到感受到的東西。像心理活動這類東西是無法很好的表現出來的。加旁白？當然可以，除非你能忍受主角的畫外音在一動不動的鏡頭裏讀幾頁小說。電影*畫面表達情緒，你的劇本就是電影畫面，要通過攝影機的角度來寫，這可能引起第二個問題。

2：不必要的攝影機標註
如果你這樣寫劇本：在5號升降臺，用盤納為升70型相機，60mm鏡頭，由8.5m搖至2m對焦…………如果你這樣寫，就算過了審稿人這一關，你的劇本也會被導演扔掉。你不需要教他怎麼拍，這不是你的事。你在寫劇本的時候完全不用擔心相機的事。但是不是劇本就不要考慮相機了呢？也不是，你需要考慮相機的關係而不是位置。劇本裏有自己的專用相機術語，多多使用這些術語，能讓你的劇本很專業，至少看上去很專業。
1.Angle on 角度對準：比如BILL走出便利店，相機對準BILL。
2.Favoring 主要表現：BILL在一個大廣場，人很多，但主要表現BILL。
3.Another angle 另一個角度：換個角度的相機表現BILL在大廣場玩的很開心。
4.Wilder angle 更寬的角度：先表現BILL在廣場的一角喝可樂，然後鏡頭拉遠，表現BILL所在的廣場。
5.New angle 新角度：換個角度表現BILL喝可樂，使鏡頭豐富。
6.POV 視點：從BILL的視點看東西。就是第一人稱視角。
7.Reverse angle 反拍角度：BILL和SALLY在一起跳舞，先拍BILL看到的SALLY，再拍SALLY看到的BILL，通常是兩人的POV互反。
8.Over shoulder angle 過肩鏡頭：相機越過BILL的肩頭看到SALLY，BILL的肩頭能把畫面自然的分割，很常用的類型。
9.Moving shot 運動鏡頭：內含跟拍，搖移，追隨等等，反正鏡頭是運動的，至於具體怎麼動，還不是現在考慮的問題。
10.Two shot 雙人鏡頭：BILL和SALLY在邊喝可樂邊交談，這種鏡頭的相機不要隨意搬移，防止「越軸」。把BILL和SALLY兩人連起來有一條軸線，相機只能在軸線一側運動，如果越過這條軸線，在畫面上BILL和SALLY的位置就會左右互換，引起觀眾視覺上的邏輯混淆。
11.Close shot 近景：強調SALLY美麗的眼睛，但一般少用為妙。

最簡單的程式，用於記錄電腦螢幕，捕獲網路攝像頭和麥克風，將記錄另存新檔視訊和GIF以及取得螢幕快照。
